Bringing New Coins to an Old Site
Old being relative to an Industry that has been taking off notably since 2014.
After years of only offering 2 coins on their website, WallofCoins.com has had the doors opened to now PIVX and Bitcoin Cash. The adding of PIVX occurred earlier this year in March, and now at the end of April they have also added Bitcoin Cash. These options are growing, and I can’t wait to see what other coins take on the platform, being able to sell your coins for cash!
PIVX, or Private Instant Verified Transaction, was the coin added that I didn’t foresee, (since I hadn’t heard of it at the time!). It’s a Darksending coin using proof of stake to support the network. You can download a PIVX wallet here, or you can join the staking pool at Simple POS Pool. Learn More Here. Their most current and ambitious goal is a completely privatized coin. They want to accomplish untraceable transactions using Zerocoin Protocol, making it so you do not need third party services to have a completely private transaction.
What really got me excited to be at work today though was the appearance of Bitcoin Cash on our wesbsite! This classic forked coin has been giving it’s big brother a run for the market, being much faster and cheaper to use in sending, plus becoming just as available as Bitcoin in most regards. Don’t forget to mention that it’s a common transaction coin too! Many websites offer BCH as a payment method, making it more affordable to make small purchases.
Wall of Coins has always prioritized seller safety, so that they are not taken advantage of during a transaction, and with that being said, that is why they only accept cash deposits! That’s good news for many buyers who have a cash based professions or who do not use bank services themselves. We’re able to trade on markets with a freedom akin to that of cash, so why not be able to buy and sell using cash?
